Schools of Hope Regional
The concept of Schools of Hope has amply confirmed itself in Myanmar. With more than 100 of these local schools, more than 2,100 children receive daily teaching and discipleship training. Otherwise, they would not be able to attend school due to the war in their country. Since there are 10 million refugees from Myanmar illegally and undocumented in the South East Asia region, the children from that group cannot attend school. Setting up local Schools of Hope, following the example of the project in Myanmar, seems to be a solution for these children. Within the project, as many teachers as possible will be trained to not only just teach but also pay attention to discipleship training.

Counseling Project II
As a result of the war in Myanmar, thousands of children are victims of war and traumatized. This means that they are unhappy, living in poverty, often on the streets, are illiterate, and have no proper education because they don’t go to school. But they are open for the gospel!
The goal of this project is to train local Christian volunteers how to help children to overcome their trauma and find hope in Jesus. To organize this, a group of Christian child psychologists is ready to travel to Bangkok (Myanmar is too dangerous) and run this program. They will prepare the program and being advised by local people about cultural differences. The training will last 10 days and the team will train local volunteers from the HiKids Myanmar network. After the training online support will be offered and the plan is to update the training regularly and to expand this to other regions in SE Asia.
