Across Brazil, children and teenagers are growing up with challenges that require more than education alone. They need adults who will walk alongside them, encourage them, and introduce them to the hope found in Jesus Christ.

For six days, HiKidz had the privilege of training an enthusiastic group of children's and youth workers from different regions of Brazil. The focus of the course was not only to strengthen their own ministry, but also to equip them to establish local training schools where new children's workers can be prepared to share God's Word with the next generation.

This multiplication principle is at the heart of HiKidz. When leaders are equipped well, they can train others, who in turn invest in even more children and young people. The training was led by Coralie den Herder and Louisa Spijker on behalf of HiKidz. Both are connected to training school De Katapult in the Netherlands and share a passion for discipleship. Their vision is simple: equipped disciples make new disciples.

One of the most encouraging aspects of the week was the diversity of the participants. Because they came from different parts of Brazil, the knowledge and experience shared during the training will continue spreading far beyond a single location.

The work is already moving forward. Preparations are underway for the HiKidz training school for children's and youth workers in São Paulo. This next step will help equip even more leaders to reach children and teenagers with God's love, practical care, and biblical discipleship.
