Conference South-Africa
HiKidz International organized this conference, bringing together participants from around the world. Each person contributed valuable knowledge, experience, and inspiration from their own culture and context.
Education is the Key
Education is the key to helping children break free from poverty in a lasting way. Combined with the message of the Gospel, it brings hope for this life and for eternity.
During the conference, we worked together on developing a practical education model that can be implemented in communities around the world.
One Purpose
Victory4All – Jeffrey’s Bay
In the slums of Jeffrey’s Bay, around 800 children receive quality education and daily discipleship. The schools and community projects of Victory4All demonstrate how hope and opportunity can transform lives. As hosts of the conference, they shared their experience and served as an inspiring example for other nations.
Schools of Hope – Myanmar
In Myanmar, where attending school can be dangerous for many children, HiKidz provides safe education through trained volunteers in local churches. In small groups of about 20 children, they learn to read and write while receiving biblical teaching and discipleship. The network has grown to around 150 schools and continues to expand each year.
Biblical Curriculum – Brazil
Children Asking presented a primary school curriculum built on seven biblical foundations. The curriculum is already being used in around 50 locations across Brazil and is now being introduced in other Portuguese-speaking countries.
Homeschooling – WLearn Academy
WLearn Academy shared its digital homeschooling program, developed with the Gospel at its heart. After successful pilot projects in Ghana, the program is being prepared to support children and families in many more countries.
The Outcome
One of the most valuable outcomes of the conference was the development of a practical model that can be used worldwide. The vision is simple: when there is one person with a calling to serve children, rooted in a local church, that person can begin reaching children with the Gospel, education, and discipleship.
By combining the experience, knowledge, and resources of organizations from different countries, we are building a model that is both practical and sustainable. Together, we want to strengthen local communities and care for children around the world, giving them the opportunity to grow in knowledge, faith, and hope.
This shared vision will continue to guide our collaboration. Together, we are committed to investing our knowledge, experience, and resources so that even more children around the world can be reached with education, the Gospel, and discipleship.
