International Supervisor for Ministry and Finance
This person, a Swiss citizen or in possession of a valid work permit, will take responsibility for country supervision and international finances, under the direction of the International Director.
- a. Country Visits and Audits (50%)
- Pastoral concern for national directors and staff
- understand ministry in each country
- Approximately 6 international trips per year
- Audit all the countries (finance, personnel + ministry strategic plan, conflict management)
- Put in place an audit system that is
- User friendly
- Valuable for improving country management
- Acceptable externally for government requirements, donors, etc.
- Report to International Director, and where necessary mention issues that need to be brought to the attention of the Hi Kidz Board
- b. Finances (20%)
- Financial planning (budgets, cash flow, balance sheet, income and expense statements) according to a recognized accounting standard (such as Zewo)
- Check Fondation Hi Kidz budgets and accounts before submitting them to the Hi Kidz Board
- Ensure that Hi Kidz budgets are respected
- Check national budgets and accounts with the International Accountant
- Supervise consolidated budgets and consolidated accounts
- Put in place financial guidelines and procedures for overall ministry
- c. International Executive Committee (key area directors) (15%)
- Plan and organize IEC meetings twice a year with the International Director
- Collect and distribute country reports for each IEC meeting
- Organize and chair IEC conference calls and meetings
- Ensure that decisions are applied
- d. International Gathering (IG – Every other year) 15%
- Plan and organize IG with the International Director, IEC and Administrative Assistant (spiritual renewal and training for international staff, in-house issues, reinforcing and implementing vision, team building. Responsible for IG communications.
